Special Equipment: Slow cooker
Ingredients
- 3 lb. pork shoulder
- 1 can cubed pineapple or 2 cups fresh pineapple, diced
- 2 tablespoons freshly grated ginger
- 1 cup By Design barbecue sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Steps
- Generously season the pork shoulder with salt and pepper and place in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Pour the canned or fresh pineapple and freshly grated ginger on top of the pork.
- Cook on low for 7 hours.
- After 7 hours, pull apart the pork shoulder with 2 forks. Add the By Design barbecue sauce and combine.
- Continue to cook on low for 1 additional hour.
