Is Your Lifestyle Really That Important?

Today we're talking about lifestyle.

And of course you follow Life by Design, so you've heard us talk about lifestyle on a regular basis. Everything is about lifestyle. Life by Design is your lifestyle for a lifetime. It's your blueprint to an extraordinary life. 

But it's not lifestyle as in whoever your primary healthcare provider is (whether it's a Life by Design chiropractor, a naturopath, a massage therapist, whatever the primary service is) plus nutrition, plus exercise, plus healthy thinking.  Good food, movement and a healthy mindset are not optional, they are requirements.

For example in my chiropractic office, we deal with the primary requirement, which is the brain-body connection. Looking at shifts of the spinal column that affect the nervous system, that affect our body in ways that we know, and most often in ways that we don't know, and through correcting those imbalances called subluxations, looking at giving the body the best opportunity to function, to heal, to grow, and really to reach its full potential.

Of course I can make great adjustments. But if I send you back into your life to recreate the same patterns and have the same habits that caused your subluxation pattern in the first place, it's two steps forward, one step back, two steps forward, one step back.

And its the same is in reverse.

If you're Eating by Design, Moving by Design, implementing the Think by Design principles, but you haven't had a checkup, haven't looked at the brain-body connection, so you have no idea what your pattern looks like, and have not had that corrected, then of course you're missing a huge piece of the puzzl and you're always going to be limited in what your body is capable of doing.

You see, each of the requirements, brain-body connection, fuel, movement, and thought work synergistically. So making sure that you're addressing each of those throughout your lifetime is the core central piece of a Life by Design.

Now, you're gonna have to do those over and over and over again. And that's why you hear me say rinse and repeat, rinse and repeat.

Now what can you do once you've implemented all these steps?

The same thing over and over and over again.

There's a reason why they don't do television shows, at least not good ones, about chiropractic and about living a healthy lifestyle.  They would be boring.  Medical shows and shows about saving people's lives and intervention, now that can be exciting.

Health is really, really boring. It's the same things, the correct principles, day in and day out, rinse and repeat, over and over and over.
