EBD Recipe: Hawaiian Pulled Pork

Eat By Design

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 8 hours

Special Equipment: Slow cooker

Ingredients

  • 3 lb. pork shoulder
  • 1 can cubed pineapple or 2 cups fresh pineapple, diced
  • 2 tablespoons freshly grated ginger
  • 1 cup By Design barbecue sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Steps

  1. Generously season the pork shoulder with salt and pepper and place in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. Pour the canned or fresh pineapple and freshly grated ginger on top of the pork.
  3. Cook on low for 7 hours.
  4. After 7 hours, pull apart the pork shoulder with 2 forks. Add the By Design barbecue sauce and combine.
  5. Continue to cook on low for 1 additional hour.
