
Here it is, a list of fifty things you can do instead of reaching for that tub of ice cream or box of chocolate covered anything.
The toughest part is deciding what to do instead of eating sugar, so I created this list for you to help strengthen your mental toughness in the meantime.

- Create next week's meal prep.
- Plan the dinner menu for the next party you are hosting.
- Take a big fat spoonful of coconut oil.
- Start a blog.
- Check out our Pinterest board!
- Practice your double unders.
- Create a scavenger hunt for your kids.
- Plan your next epic date night with your partner.
- Take your Life By Design essential supplements (fish oil, vitamin D and probiotic).
- Call your best friend and tell them one thing you love about them.
- Organize your closet by colours.
- Find a new recipe with an organ meat in it and try it. This one is my favourite!
- Play Mario Kart.
- Start a veggie garden. Or at least start planning your veggie garden.
- Clean out your pantry and fridge of anything with sugar in it.
- Download the five minute journal app and write your first entry.
- Do a Tabata exercise (twenty seconds of body weighted movement like an air squat, burpee or push up, followed by ten seconds of rest, repeated eight times).
- Learn how to play chess.
- Register for a webinar that will help make your life better.
- Have sex.
- Write out a list of your values.
- Register for an online course or program that will help you reach your goals.
- Do your joint-to-joint mobility.
- Take a nap.
- Create a monthly budget that you'll actually stick to.
- Book your next family vacation.
- Re-read your favourite book.
- Meditate for ten minutes.
- Help your child start a business (babysitting, lemonade stand, pet sitting company).
- Like our Facebook page and check out the last couple articles we shared about rebuilding your relationship with food.
- Write out five things you absolutely love about your job (and maybe an exit strategy if this exercise ends up being really difficult).
- Invite your niece or nephew over for a sleepover.
- Make an appointment with a Life By Design Chiropractor if you haven't already.
- Surprise your spouse with something that will totally blow their mind.
- Perform a random act of kindness to a complete stranger.
- Start your dream online business.
- Sign up for CrossFit.
- Grab a mug of bone broth.
- Clean up your computer's desktop.
- Ask that person you are too scared to ask, out on a date.
- Go for a walk by yourself.
- Rearrange the furniture in one room of your house.
- Create your dream home.
- Get a massage.
- Learn how to brew your own batch of kombucha.
- Mail a letter to someone that has made a huge impact on your life.
- Make a dinner reservation for you and your siblings at your all time favourite restaurant.
- Choose one thing to do to help you get over your biggest fear (public speaking, rejection, failure, spiders).
- Say you're sorry to someone you have been holding a grudge against.
- Take a bubble bath.
